Maybe the negative thoughts regarding money bother you. Perhaps, you think that wanting money is bad and money changes you. Let us tell you that you are not alone – a large share of people has negative thoughts about money. They think being wealthy makes them bad since wanting money is not good.

Firstly, money does not change people. Also, it doesn’t cause problems. So, don’t be afraid of achieving success and becoming a millionaire.

Money only causes problems – is it what you think? Well, money doesn’t cause problems; rather, it solves your problems. It’s true that money is not the key to happiness and peace. But it often makes life easier and can make your life enjoyable. So, more money and more problems is nothing but a misconception or myth.

· Money Makes You a Bad Person

Perhaps, you don’t want to be rich just because you believe that being wealthy makes you a bad person. The truth is – being rich doesn’t mean losing your morality. As long as you have moral values and fight corruption, nothing can make you a bad person, not even money. Don’t think about people who are there to judge you just because you are rich. Remember, your life can be more enjoyable with money. It can help you fix a multiple problems.

Won’t you love to help your parents in retirement? Don’t you feel happy about supporting anyone who is needy? And money makes it possible to achieve all these goals. So, don’t feel bad about earning more and being rich.

· Wanting More Money Makes You Greedy

Stop believing a bunch of people who have toxic thoughts about money. Having the urge to earn more money doesn’t make you greedy. Some people may consider you a greedy person. Because they may think that you are not happy about where you are. That’s why you want more. Well, don’t feel guilty about it. Also, don’t indulge in thoughts like you don’t deserve more.

There is nothing wrong with wanting more, and you are free to set any goal you want. What you need is the courage to chase your dreams.

Money can never be addictive as long as you don’t get obsessed about being wealthy. The best thing you can do to reduce the risk of money addiction is to take control of your actions. Monitor your actions properly and make the right decisions. If you feel like you have become addicted to money, just acknowledge the fact.

To fix any problem, it is necessary to identify the problem first and then find the solution. Observe yourself closely and examine your actions. You will never be addicted to money or wealth if you know how to prevent yourself from getting obsessed with something.

People often give up on their dreams about making millions just because they believe it’s too hard to become rich. Thus, they limit themselves. But this is not the right way to be chosen. Those who believe that it is nearly impossible to become a millionaire are actually scared of taking the risk; they just want to play safe.

At first, learn to dream big and overcome your fears. Once you start believing in your dreams and working on them, you will be able to achieve your goals. The best way to motivate yourself is to derive inspiration from successful entrepreneurs who have started from zero. Always stay hungry and stay motivated.

Another judgmental comment is – money or wealth can cause unethical behaviors. Do you believe it? Remember, no one can have power over you unless you allow it. You should know right from wrong. Wealthy people lack empathy – is it true? Well, money has nothing to do with empathy and compassion. What you need is to become able to understand and use your emotions in positive ways. If you know how to put yourself in another person’s shoes and how to read a person’s facial expression, you can empathize with him or her.

The first thing you need to do is to get rid of all your fears and motivate yourself. Thus, you can achieve your goals. Making millions does not happen overnight. So, just be patient, find smart ways and work on your dreams.

  1. I totally relate to this negative attitude towards money. Not so long ago, I used to think that becoming a billionaire was unfair to those living in poverty. I felt for a moment that we should all be middle class so that everyone gets a fair share of life. However, I have come to realize that having a good deal of money is essential for peace of mind for you and your family. So I work hard to set up financial streams for my kids and great grandkids.

    1. Some people are happy living a poor lifestyle, and that is fine. Others have a burning desire tp get a larger piece of the pie, that is also fine.

  2. Thank you for such a great post. I totally agree with you that many people think that the more money, the more the person is in debt. It all depends on the person’s future and financial planning skills. As you said that people believe that money makes you a bad person and makes you greedy, this is also wrong thinking, it all depends on the person’s mentality. If someone is clear about the future aim and how he should manage his money in order to generate more money then this factor should never affect their thought process about money. I hope that makes sense.. please correct me if I am wrong.

    1. To me money brings out the real you. An individual is able to express his or her self without worrying about the repercussions. Managing your cash flow is also very important, i do not want to be a one day millionaire.

    The money myths I’ve always knew aren’t true, it depends on the individual, money shouldn’t change people neither should you allow it to change you.

    Money does indeed contribute to making one happy however it isn’t the only answer. Financial freedom is a great thing to achieve, it can help with many problems.
